Arancha Gonzalez, a member of TradeLab's Advisory Board, was recently appointed by Spain's Prime Minister as the country's new foreign minister. She has served as an assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Executive Director of the International Trade Center.

 Santiago Wills, a leader of the Universidad de los Andes TradeLab pilot clinic and now serving as the Ambassador of Colombia, was recently appointed chair of the WTO Negotiating Group on Rules. As chair, he will lead discussions regarding fisheries subsidies, furthering UN Sustainable Development Goals and ocean protection.
